Level Advice
Advice book for landowners on the Levels.
The Gwent Levels are a green gem dividing the urban areas of Cardiff, Newport and Chepstow. As such it is an important area for wildlife, which is a direct result of the interaction between land managers, in particular farmers, and the landscape.
RSPB Cymru in conjunction with partners, including NRW, Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Gwent Wildlife Trust, and the Living Levels Landscape Partnership, have produced a booklet for farmers and land managers. Level Advice highlights the importance of the area for nature and provides key management actions to safeguard it for future generations.
The booklet was produced by the Sustainable Management Scheme Sustaining the Gwent Levels project, funded through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
In partnership with Living Levels programme on the Gwent Levels funded by National Heritage Lottery Fund.
